Today was fun!
After knowing John Barr for several years, we tried things his way.
Tuning the original 2.3 SOHC engine through various different stages. John wanted to do something radical, yet practical. So we did things MY WAY! We came up with a game plan to shoe horn a Honda k24 power plant into his 1988 Merkur.
Few hurdles and obstacles but it’s on the final stages of this build.

Type S oil pump
2200cc injectors

Controlled by a Kpro ecu,
Blast to drive and still very good on gas mileage ✅
Also has rolling antilag functional for those moments where you just might wanna kick the rear end out 🤣
Cant wait to sort out a few loose ends and see what it down the track.
P.S anybody know if this is the only Merkur with a K swap ? 🤣
