💙 Ladies of San Marcos and North County, your questions deserve answers. Not judgment.

Ever left an auto repair shop feeling confused, pressured, or unsure about what your car actually needed?

That's exactly the kind of experience Michele Hoisington, co-owner of Coastal Car Care, wanted to change.

As a woman-owned, family-run shop, we've created a female-friendly environment where:

💬 Questions are welcomed and answered with respect.
🔧 Repairs are explained clearly, without confusing jargon.
🤝 Recommendations are honest, never pushy.
💙 You feel comfortable and confident making decisions.

You don't need to be a car expert. That's our job. Your job is to feel informed and respected.

🔧 A water pump replacement… so why is the entire engine out? 👀

Here's a little behind-the-scenes look at what quality workmanship really takes.

This Ford Explorer came in needing a new water pump. But rather than working around tight spaces, our team determined that removing the engine and transmission assembly was the better approach.

Why? To give our technician the access needed to carefully address the water pump, timing chain, and seals—with the attention to detail each component deserves.

Some repairs call for a little extra work behind the scenes. And that's where experience, patience, and genuine pride in the craft make a difference. 💙

🏆 Proudly voted San Diego's #1 Auto Service & Repair Shop for 2026 and an AAA Approved Auto Repair facility.

Sometimes, the best thing we can offer isn't a repair. It's honesty, guidance, and someone you can count on.

Not every diagnosis brings the news a customer hopes for. But even when a vehicle can't be saved, our commitment to the person behind the wheel doesn't change.

CM, thank you for sharing your experience and for trusting us during a difficult situation. Your kind words about Glen and Cory mean so much to our family and team.

And knowing you'd trust us with your next vehicle? That's the kind of confidence we work hard to earn every day. 💙

To every customer who takes a moment to leave us a review, recommend our shop, or share their experience: thank you. Your trust is what keeps us doing what we love.

🚘💙 They don't make 'em like they used to… and that's exactly why we love 'em! 😎🔧

A little throwback to this beautiful 1953 Cadillac that spent some time in our shop.

Chrome, character, and decades of automotive history. Classics like this remind us that working on vintage vehicles takes more than technical knowledge. It takes patience, attention to detail, and a genuine appreciation for the craftsmanship of another era.

And yes, these beauties sometimes keep our technicians on their toes! 😉 That's all part of the adventure.

At Coastal Car Care, we love helping keep automotive history on the road, one classic at a time. 🌊

🚘💙 To you, it's never just another car. And to us, it never will be.

It's the car that gets you to work. The one that takes your family on weekend adventures. Or maybe it's a classic you've spent years bringing back to life. 🔧

Whatever you drive, there's a story behind it. And when you hand us the keys, you're trusting us with something that matters to you.
That's a responsibility we take personally.

At Coastal Car Care, our craft goes beyond turning wrenches. It's about listening, explaining what your vehicle needs, doing the work with care, and making sure you feel confident every step of the way.

We're a family-run shop, and we believe trust is earned through the little things we do every day. 🌊

When we say our team puts everything into their work… we mean EVERYTHING. 😂🔧

A little throwback to one of our unforgettable projects at Coastal Car Care: the 1968 “El Camaro.” 💙

A classic El Camino brought together with a 2020 Camaro engine and 10-speed transmission, this custom build was a months-long labor of love, tackled from the frame up.

Projects like this take patience, creativity, technical expertise, and a team willing to get into every little detail.
And apparently, sometimes that means getting into the truck bed with both feet! 😆

It's moments like these that remind us why we love what we do. Behind every custom build are real people, plenty of problem-solving, and a shared passion for bringing ambitious ideas to life.

Now, here's a question for our longtime CCC followers: Can you guess which Hoisington is diving headfirst into this project? 👀👇
