Now that we had a few days to recoup we wanted to say THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the show, everyone that brought cars or bike, the vendors, the BMX crew, the Pullens, the food trucks and of course all my family and friends that show up to help and make it all happen! Our vision hasn’t changed since our first show is 2003… just bringing the bicycle and now car community together for a unique event for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for supporting SHINY SIDE UP! Get ready for the comeback you’ve been waiting for! is officially returning to the Shiny Side Up 2025 season, and we know you’ve missed them as much as we have!

You’ve known him as the builder of the Shorty Fatz bikes, you’ve admired Gooseneck Bicycles, and now, the legend himself, Matthew Rodriguez, is bringing Pops Cycles back home! Since 1993, Matthew has been handcrafting custom bicycle frames and tailored builds, pushing the boundaries of design and quality. His signature frames have graced streets worldwide since 2008, finding homes in Japan, Australia, France, Indonesia, and across the entire United States.

Shiny Side Up is a community event that typically combines a showcase of both bicycles and cars, in a fun and family-friendly environment. This event features a variety of bikes (from vintage Schwinns, old school BMX to full custom built cruisers) and cars (including classic cars, muscle cars, lowriders & custom trucks). The show is a great opportunity for enthusiasts to share their passion for bicycles and automobiles, connect with other like-minded individuals, and enjoy a day of sick rides, awesome food trucks, vendors related to the culture, live DJ and BMX stunt shows…
