After years of hard work, it was finally time for a paint job. Thanks to Pangolin4x4 for the paint and my family for a few hours for tape and spray. Looks amazing from 20’, especially for a few $100 dollars.

It was bound to happen at some point. Noticed a small pool of fluid under the clutch pedal. Checked the reservoir and it was empty. Appropriate ending to an already long day. Thanks to Hagerty for quick and easy service to bring Landy home!

After a long hiatus, a big update: Landy is back on the road! Forbyn Bros LLC 4-wheel disc brakes and upgrade axle, rocksliders, new swivel balls and hubs inside and out, heavy duty steering rods from Rovers North with Old Man Emu steering damper, genuine Land Rover dual-circuit brake system from Pangolin4x4, replaced genuine oil pressure/water temp gauge, new seatbelts, Defender mirrors, stand-alone clutch master cylinder, and a working parking brake. A few minor tweaks to make, but mostly ready for summer. Next big phase will be a rollcage for additional safety and then moving on the the engine and drivetrain. Last of all will be the paint. Maybe by 2021?
