Chicano Soul Fest is proud to welcome DJ Mike of Bayology and DJ Ken as the official DJs of the Second Stage!

These two have been holding it down for the Bay Area for years—creating experiences, supporting artists, bringing communities together, and keeping the culture alive through music. Their passion for the scene and dedication to the community have made them respected names throughout San Jose and beyond.

No parking on the dance floor! The hottest party in the Bay is coming soon, and it’s right in your backyard. Get ready for the kickoff of Movie Nights in the Park with the screening of Selena at Hellyer County Park on Saturday, June 27th. Block party starts at 6 pm with DJ Ken spinning old school tunes, and movie starts at 8 pm. Event is free, parking is $6.

Streetlow Magazine’s Lowrider San Jose Car Show & Concert returns to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Roll in begins Saturday from 12 PM to 5 PM and Sunday from 6 AM to 11 AM. Doors open to the public at 12 PM.

All cars are welcome. If you’re not registered, registration will be available the day of the show.

One of the featured programs will be Doñas: Ladies of the Lowrider Community, highlighting the stories, artistry, and contributions of women in lowriding.

Yesterday members of the United Lowrider Council of San Jose had the honor of speaking to students at Boynton High School about the history and culture of lowriding. From the roots of lowriding to the importance of family, community, art, and self expression, it was amazing to see the students so engaged and inspired throughout the presentation.

Not only did the students get to learn about lowrider history, they also got the opportunity to experience the cars in person, hear the stories behind them, sit inside them, and even witness hydraulics up close. Seeing the excitement and reactions from the students reminded us why it’s so important to continue preserving and sharing this culture with the next generation.

Hearing that the students spent the rest of the day sharing photos, watching videos, asking questions, and talking about lowriders truly means everything to us. Thank you to Boynton High School for welcoming us and allowing us to share a culture that means so much to our community.

Most importantly, thank you to the students for listening, participating, and showing so much love and respect. The future is bright and we’re looking forward to continuing these connections for years to come.
