Cowden Automotive was started over 30 years ago in response to a need for a great repair and maintenance service available to drivers in the city. Now 30 years and two SF Weekly "Best of San Francisco" awards later, Cowden Automotive has grown from a one man shop to an impressive 8,000 sq. ft., 10-bay facility with the latest diagnostic equipment and highly qualified technicians that are trained t

o fix today’s modern foreign cars. We service and repair all makes of Japanese and European cars as well as Jeep and smaller domestic vehicles. Cowden Automotive can do everything from oil and filter changes, brake inspections, timing belt replacements, tire repair and replacement, exhaust systems, major engine work, engine light diagnostics, A/C service, 15,000 and 30,000 mile service, and BMW Inspection One and Two services. We can drop you off at the nearest BART station while we work on your vehicle, and when possible, we try to ensure the work on your vehicle is done within one business day. At Cowden Automotive, you can expect quality and honest work, every time.
