FOR SALE - Ex-Dieter Oest IMSA GTO/ Porsche $185,000 usd
Dieter Oest and Milt Minter raced this car in IMSA and the Exxon Supreme GT series from 1990 to 1994. Built on a 1977 930 chassis this car is also a veteran of many historic racing events such as the Monterey Pre-Reunion, The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Rennsport Reunion, The Brian Redman at Road America, SVRA at COTA.
Engine is 3.2 liter single turbo with under one hours of dyno time, under two hours of track time and no race time. Chris Carroll at Turbo-Kraft rebuilt the engine and upgraded the engine management to a Motec M130 programable ECU and a new custom built 2-piece EFI wiring harness. During the rebuild, completed in April 2022, every component of the engine was serviced or new.
TRANSAXLE - 930 4 speed with three races from fresh. Limited slip. OIL SYSTEM - New oiling system by Roger Hamlin in April of 2024 to include, Modify front mounted oil tank for more capacity and larger Oil lines, mount new large remote oil filter, modify oil cooler for larger fittings, flush and clean cooler, fabricate large oil hard lines, plumb new oil system.
SAFETY - installed new in April 2024, LifeLine Zero 2020 FIA 3 LITER Electric Fire Suppression System, Sabelt Silver safety harness, SFI Roll Bar Padding
I know I did not cover everything but receipts are available and inspections welcome in the SF Bay Area.
