Urine smell in a car seat? In San Diego heat, it only gets worse.
Pet accident, a kid, a spill that sat too long. Here is how we handle it on fabric and leather seats:
1. Blot up whatever is still wet. Don’t rub.
2. Dissolve enzymatic powder in hot water and spray it on the spot.
3. Work it in with a brush.
4. Pull it out with a carpet extractor.
5. Repeat. Old stains can take several rounds.
6. Neutralize the powder with an acidic shampoo.
7. Finish with an ozone treatment to kill what is left in the foam.
Store-bought sprays usually cover the smell for a few days. It comes back when the car heats up.
Don’t want to spend a Saturday on this? We do it at your home or work anywhere in San Diego.
