Omg, you just can't script the preciousness of this foal...and the hilarity of that blaze (if you imagine that as a finger). David Justice says this is his horse. 🤣 We might be a little bit in love. This is a son of Tizamagician out of Esfera, by Kentucky Derby winner, Orb. (Owned in partnership with Sue Belanger).

That time Tizamagician thought he was Pegasus and came out of the gate flying. 😍 Somehow, he still managed to finish second in the Brooklyn Stakes that day. The one time he raced outside of California. (Not my photo. Can't find who to give photo credit to. Great shot, though!)

What's this? An Esfera baby with bling??? I totally did not see this coming! None of her babies (she's had 5) have ever had facial markings, and then this little cutie arrives. Not a great picture (and Mama kept getting in the way so she could get her carrots), but I will get some better ones once he gets turned out. Baby daddy is Tizamagician.

My beautiful Esfera. (Orb x Tap Mate, by Pleasant Tap). She delivered a c**t a few days ago. I haven't met him yet, but he's a full brother to Little Boy, who we lost late last year. 😭😭😭 Also a full brother to Moonlight Magic, who is in training. She will not be re-bred this year. Can't wait to meet her latest baby! ❤️ Will share when I can.

We have been so blessed this season, I don't even know where to begin. Beautiful mamas, babies, and a wonderful stallion...

Twisted Romance gifted us a tall, bay filly on Sunday. She needed a little help on the first day getting enough to eat, but now she's nursing like a champ. Mom is VERY protective (it's her first baby), so I just got whatever photos I could through the stall door and made sure I gave peace offerings of carrots. 😁 I did get to observe the filly trying to "run" around her stall. Absolutely adorable.

We have baby news to share, but that will have to wait until tomorrow (which is Foal Friday, after all). In the meantime...

We have baby news to share, but that will have to wait until tomorrow (which is Foal Friday, after all). In the meantime, with Baby Q (Without Question) getting so much attention, why not have another look at her big sister? This is Come on Kat '25 (by Tizamagician), who has had a growth spurt recently--though you can't tell in these photos. We are very pleased with how she is developing.

As we eagerly await the birth of Twisted Romance's first foal (by Tizamagician), we took a moment to cheer on her little brother, Sea Strike, in his first start--a maiden special weight at Aqueduct. Though he missed the break, took all the kickback, and had to weave through traffic, he still won going away under Flavien Prat. Both Twisted Romance and Sea Strike are out of the Line of David mare, Meetmeonline. Twisted Romance is by Twirling Candy, while Sea Strike is by Midshipman. Good to see the family running well!
