How to detail cars efficiently with two people
After 8 years of detailing, this is the routine we found works best for us. Everyone has their own process, but this is what keeps us efficient and moving without getting in each other’s way.
Step 1: Interior Blowout & Wheels
* Person 1: Blow out the interior using the Tornador.
* Person 2: Clean the wheels and tires.
* (By the time Person 1 finishes the interior blowout, Person 2 should have most of the wheels done)
Step 2: Exterior Wash
* Person 1: Rinse and foam up the vehicle.
* Person 2: Grab the wash mitt, and both of us work together to wash the vehicle.
Step 3: Interior Work & Drying
* Person 1: Start wiping down the interior and vacuuming.
* Person 2: Blow-dry the vehicle to remove excess water.
Step 4: Final Touches
* Person 1: Wipe down the paint and finish drying the exterior.
* Person 2: Apply tire shine and touch up the wheels.
Having a bread and butter technique is the most important part. Hopefully this is helpful for someone.
