Hey everyone, meet your manager at Bosch Auto Service Alamo Ranch, Elvin Jr! He started as a manager for Honducar Collision Center 3 years ago and has become an automotive enthusiast! He says that his favorite part about working at Bosch is the relationships he's built with his peers over the years.

He takes pride in the work he does at Bosch and has a goal of expanding all over the United States to continue the brand and legacy. You'll find him at a gym, a concert (especially if the 1975 is playing!), in his free time! Lastly, he shared that his favorite car is a 1990s Honda NSX, in case anyone wondered. :)

Meet Elvin, the heart behind Honducar Collision and Bosch Auto Service Alamo Ranch! Elvin's journey from holding a flashlight for his father while he worked on the family car in Honduras to running his own car repair shop is truly inspiring. Elvin's commitment to excellence and community is evident in everything he does, from serving in the Air Force to coaching excellent soccer teams.

Elvin's automotive journey began in Honduras, where he started by holding the flashlight for his father while he worked on the family car. This experience ignited Elvin’s passion not only for service but also for family and community.

His career took off as an airplane technician in Honduras, alongside serving in the Honduras Air Force. During his time at the Honduras Air Force Academy as a second-year cadet, he was selected for an 18-month training program with the US Air Force, recognized globally as the best. After completing his training, Elvin returned to Honduras to train Air Force technicians for two years. Following this period, he decided to marry his high school sweetheart, Claudia Caballero, also known as "Jackie," and together they formed a family in the US, driven by a desire to provide their children with better education and opportunities.

After settling in the United States following his military service, Elvin transitioned into retail, where he developed strong community ties. It was during this period that Elvin and a mechanic friend identified a growing need for reliable car repair services in their community, leading to the establishment of their own car repair shop in 2004..

Beyond his automotive pursuits, Elvin is deeply passionate about soccer. He dedicates his time to supporting the community through soccer, offering mentorship, encouragement, and a nurturing environment for children. His commitment was honored in 2014 when he received the Coach of the Year award for Texas and Region 3 in the United States Soccer League. Elvin and his family have positively impacted over 45 children through soccer, a testament to his national recognition.

Elvin’s commitment to excellence and community led him to join Bosch. Drawn by Bosch’s stellar reputation in the automotive industry and influenced by his father, a dedicated Bosch enthusiast, Elvin knew it was the perfect fit. Despite his father's passing, Elvin continues to carry his wisdom and support, guided by his father’s words, "Es lo que dije mira" (It is what I said, take a look). Elvin looks forward to the future with Bosch Auto Service Alamo Ranch, eager to continue his journey and expand his impact on the community.
