☀️🍪 YOUR CAR CALLED. IT’S PREHEATED.
Someone around here had the completely reasonable thought:
“If Texas insists on being this hot, can we at least get snacks out of it?”
So naturally, we put cookie dough on a baking sheet, stuck it on the dashboard, shut the doors and let Texas handle the rest. 😂
1:15 PM: Raw cookie dough
4:30 PM: ACTUAL. BAKED. COOKIES.
And before you ask...
Yes, they were fully baked.
Yes, we ate them.
Yes, they were actually delicious.
No, we will not be adding an oven fee to your repair bill. 🍪😂
But this little experiment did confirm one thing:
🔥 Your car is perfectly capable of becoming an Easy-Bake Oven.
You, however, should not have to become the cookie.
If your A/C is blowing warm, barely keeping up, or has simply decided it no longer wishes to participate in Texas summers, bring it to D&D Auto Air. ❄️
We’ll handle the A/C.
Texas can handle the baking.

2019 Chevrolet 2500 WT 6.0L

Customer States That Unit Is Overheating - Upon inspection, we found a significant amount of debris trapped between the radiator & the A/C condenser, restricting airflow through the cooling system. The restricted airflow was causing the fan clutch to work harder than normal in an attempt to keep the engine temperatures under control. After thoroughly removing the debris & restoring proper airflow, the fan clutch returned to normal operation & the overheating condition was resolved.

2011 Ford Cutaway E350 Super Duty 5.4L

Customer brought unit in for a second opinion on the A/C not working properly. Found the Evaporator Line Bent, the Accumulator Leaking & the A/C Compressor that was just replaced locked up which contaminated the complete A/C System. Replace A/C Compressor, A/C Condenser, Evaporator Core, Suction Line, Discharge Line, Manifold/Liquid Line & Or***ce Tube. (Picture Features Dye On The Accumulator)

2004 Ford F550 Super Duty 6.0L

Customer States that the drain plug is leaking and is dripping oil all over the place, they are having to add oil daily. Install an over sized drain plug & found that unit may have a few other leaks to investigate.

2017 RAM 3500HD Laramie 6.7L

Replace the heater grid as a preventive measure. These 6.7L Cummins trucks are known for a potential issue with the grid heater bolt & electrical connection overheating. Over time, excessive heat can damage the connection & lead to corrosion. In severe cases, the grid heater bolt can loosen or break off & be pulled into the intake. If that happens, the bolt can enter the engine & cause serious, expensive internal engine damage.
