In the wake of recent devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country, Principle BMW and MINI of San Antonio and Principle VOLVO Cars San Antonio helped raise $106,133 to support Kerr County and surrounding communities through our Principle in Action initiative.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests, associates, and community, funds and supplies were donated to:

•The Kerrville Salvation Army
•TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue)
•Kerrville Chamber of Commerce Flood Relief
and Recovery Fund
•Camp La Junta

We were especially honored to contribute to the rebuilding of Camp La Junta through 2 miles worth of hands on volunteer restoration work.

Marissa's Daisy Award nomination and Nurse of the Year nominee stories from University Health:

Marissa calmed a patient who was terrified by their 5 to 6 second heart pauses. Marissa was transparent with the patient about their condition and reassured them that she was always just a phone call away. Marissa also went the extra mile to anticipate the patient’s comfort needs by providing hot packs, adjusting the bed, offering fresh linens, and assisting with bed baths, all without the patient having to ask.

In her DAISY nomination the patient shared, “I have been an RN for almost 50 years. I cannot recommend her enough for the DAISY Award. She embodies every aspect of the attributes put forth in the Nightingale code and spirit of the lamp.”

Cynthia and Matthew's Daisy Award nomination and Nurse of the Year nominee stories from University Health:

Cynthia’s approach to nursing is shaped by empathy and firsthand patient experience. She made a profound impact on a patient who suffered a stroke shortly after childbirth. Recognizing how deeply the mother longed to hold her newborn, Cynthia gently facilitated skin-to-skin contact, sparing her the heartache of missing those first precious moments. Throughout the patient’s stay, Cynthia continued to anticipate her needs, turning distant comforts into immediate realities.

Just months into his nursing career, Matthew has already earned the trust of patients and inspired his colleagues with his reliability, intuitive care, and compassionate bedside manner. A natural advocate, he brings a steady, calming presence to every room, reassuring patients that they are truly in good hands.
