When the diagnosis matters. 🔧

One of our techs was out at a scrap yard today working on a couple of Sennebogen material handlers. Between the two machines, he diagnosed six separate issues and has parts already on order to return and complete the repairs.

The biggest issue? A slow hydraulic cooling fan.

The customer had already purchased a new fan motor because their mechanic believed that was the problem. After properly diagnosing the system, our tech found that the hydraulic pump supplying the fan was actually bad.

The other issues were smaller electrical problems caused by faulty components, but catching all of them now means the customer can get these machines back to work with confidence.

This is why proper diagnostics matter. We don’t just replace parts and hope for the best. We find the problem and fix it. 💪🔧

For this job, we were pressing track pins on a Caterpillar 349E excavator, to change out a bad link and pin.

This machine is definitely in need of more extensive undercarriage work, but we informed the customer and they requested to do minimum to get it back up and running.

We don’t dictate how customers choose to do repairs but we definitely give them of a summary of what is needed.

Proper wheel end maintenance is a critical part of maintenance on your truck or trailer.

Many trailers have grease packed bearings, and they need to be repacked with grease annually, or every 12k miles which ever comes first.

This customer used another shop to pack their wheel bearings. Shortly after having the work done, one wheel end burnt up, so they decided to bring their trailer to us for inspection. We ended up repacking all bearings correctly, because the previous shop did not pack the bearings properly and had dirt inside the hubs.
