The City of San Antonio is now posting COVID-19 case updates at noon daily on www.sanantonio.gov/covid19 As of today, there are 29 positive COVID-19 cases. Of those cases, 13 are travel-related, four are close contacts of previously diagnosed cases, eight were community transmission and four are under investigation.

City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management encourages residents to recycle. Because more people are staying home, there’s more material to collect. Please keep using your blue and green carts correctly, and never for trash overflow. You can always call 311 for an out-of-cycle pickup. ($10/limit 3)
The 2020 income tax deadline for filing and making payments has been moved from April 15 to July 15 amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) free tax preparation program in San Antonio is currently operating five drop-off locations for residents to bring tax documents. City of San Antonio Animal Care Services has teamed up with the Cathy Kangas Foundation for Animals and PRAI Beauty for fee-waived adoptions this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. ACS is located at 4710 State Highway 151. Shelter hours run 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. this weekend. Online adoption and foster applications can be found at www.saacs.net.
Bexar County, Texas Judge Nelson Wolff issued an executive order effective 11:59 PM on March 19th. The order reduces public gatherings to 10 people or less, suspends evictions for rental property owners for the next 30 days, suspends foreclosure proceedings for the next 30 days, and addresses price gouging including penalties.
