2018 ram 5.7 hemi , lifter failure , I highly recommend replacing all lifters , oil pump and cam if need be ,but I also work with my customers budget and get them back on the road for a reasonable price , replacing half of the lifters is not recommended but will temporarily get you back on the road . Luckily this cam was still in great shape . The best thing to do is eliminate the MDS lifters and complete system (multi displacement system) and program the ECU to run on 8 cylinders at all times .

2010 explorer came in with a loud rumble from the rear , and a severe differential leak, after inspection I found it was a wheel bearing, I also drained the differential and found metal shavings, so I replaced it with a used unit . (the drive shaft bolts were tightened after the picture was taken )

2014 5.3 Silverado DOD/AFM lifter collapsed causing a bad constant misfire , replaced them with Michigan motorsports LS7 lifters OEM lifter trays, michigan motorsports dod delete plugs ,OEM push rods ,felpro head gaskets and head bolts .

This car came in with a timing chain rattle , and misfiring , I found the tensioner had been replaced, but the previous shop put RTV in the oil port causing the tensioner to fail and bend all 8 exhaust valves , it’s an interference engine ,so any slack on the timing chain could be costly to the customer . If everything goes as planned it should be back on the road tonight or tomorrow morning , and on to the next one .
