2014 Cadillac ATS rear differential replacement. Customer was quoted alot of money so it sat for awhile. Cant remember the exact quote but remember thinking it was an insane price. Anyhow, did it for $700. Hardest part of the job was all the torque specs with blue thread locker. 150nm of torque is very hard in that tight space but got it done right and saved the guy alot of money. Not that serious.

2003 m3 been sitting for a bit so took a little bit of love to get it running again. Nice car though.

I love it. This transmission will be good for another 100k-200k miles. Transmission solenoids and seals and new fluid. Best way to bulletproof your bmws zf transmisson. This was done as preventative maintenance. Had no transmission faults. But i did notice that it wouldnt peel out before and the adaptation values were a little lacking. Peels out fine now. Excellent torque and shift values restored. Usually dont take pictures of the transmission jobs because hands are full of transmission fluid but i did this time.

Wow, yall aint gonna believe this one! So this was a 2 day job. Trying to help someone. Turned out on the second day of the job when all of the hard stuff had been done she told me to stop. Apparently she planned this because she called 911 on me and told them she googled it and she doesn't have to pay me because i didn't complete the repairs and some other legal whatevers. AI was wrong again. Well, when the police showed up they put her in handcuffs and in the back of the car. Arrested! I literally started crying tears because all i could think was her son is gonna come home to no one. So the police came back and said that she doesnt have the money, she only has a certain amount so i said yeah ill take it if you let her go. She paid me, and they let her go. Never met someone so ungrateful and disrespectful. Called the police on me probably thought that would scare me off and a shed get free work. Thing is, i really wanted to fix her car for her but she messed that up. Ive never had nothing like this ever happen ever before. Completely shocked. I still did all of the hard stuff. I removed the wrecked subframe, and wrecked parts. And installed most everything. New oilpan. Was like 2 hours from being done and she did this. Pretty shady. But oh well. I hope she learned her lesson. I obviously wont ever go back to that customer. I truly dont understand. I do right by everyone. But oh well. It is what it is. What a day.

Wow!!! I met the first bolt i wasnt able to extract. Spent 4 hours or so on it before i ran outta time. With more time id get it out but gonna just have to go back and replace the wheel carrier hub and bearing with another one and be done with it. I tried drilling it, tried a torch and pb blaster, welded onto it multiple times, even used a dremel with diamond fine needle tips to grind away the first 2 threads. All failed in the time i had. The actual bolt head had sheared off flush with the surface so probably fused or even bent in such a way to make it so hard to remove. And its one of the thicker suspension bolts. When i return and replace the carrier i will still remove it from the old part because im stubborn like that. Be able to get a better weld onto it with it off. Ill do a part 2 later on it. But for now it goes down as a failure. Was trying very hard to save the guy the money from having to replace the parts. But sometimes its necessary.

2009 bmw 128i another timing job. The engine had seized from oil starvation. Ista+ read the oil level at about 33.4mm when its supposed to have 65mm so about half empty. Oil pump obviously couldn't lubricate everything and intake shaft seized. Then trying to crank it severely degraded the battery and starter. Battery still worked enough but told him to look at getting another one soon. Yeah the tarp in the pictures was because it was raining all day and had to keep water from getting into the engine as well as use my canopy. Also replaced the vanos gears as they were compromised and had given codes before the time jump. But runs good again now.

My first job today was my favorite engine. The n52. I love rebuilding these things. Took me 4 hours. This one was a 2008 5 series with timing issues. Runs good and strong now. I gotta do this job again on a 1 series this friday. But once done these engines will live again for a very long time.

2018 bmw 430i convertible. Look at this craziness just to replace an alternator! Practically had to disassemble the entire engine. Still got in done and rebuilt in about 2 hours i think. Kinda fun like a puzzle.
