Another great day of racing. We had big concerns about how the track surface would turn out, but it ended up absolutely perfect. Look at Kason Oates, achieving his first podium with the big boys! See everyone in two weeks for the Nitro Showdown.

After 4” of rain the last 2 weeks It took Clint,Jacob and I 3 days to get it in shape. Come get some laps in before the Nitro Show down. Club race tomorrow. It’s going to be a fun one

Nitro Showdown Update:

Over the last couple of days, we’ve had some questions about the Nitro Showdown. Our biggest goal for this event was to make it an all-nitro race. We added E-Buggy simply for drivers who don’t have nitro vehicles.

We’re keeping the same format this year — no 1/10th scale, no E-Truggy, and no 40+ classes. We only plan to hold this race once a year, so we want to keep the focus on what the Nitro Showdown was intended to be.

For next year, we’ll consider adjustments, including possibly shortening the 1-hour mains and adding classes based on feedback.

We’re also keeping this as a Saturday/Sunday race mainly so racers don’t have to take off work on Friday for practice. Most of our 3-day races usually end up being completed on Saturday anyway.

We appreciate everyone’s support and feedback, and we’re looking forward to putting on a great event!

Track is open for practice today and all day tomorrow. It has a couple of wet spots between the lanes but dry on the racing surface. Timing system will be on. Racing next Sunday.
Note: I will clean up most of the washed out spots. Just won’t be my normal smooth surface
