To the young gentlemen in the white 4th gen ram 1500 who stole the 37x13.50r20 Toyo RT PROs from the shop about an hour ago , we have you on camera. Please return them by the end of the day and we will drop it. Otherwise we will file a report and press charges.
You asked if you could haul off old tires, not if you could steal the only brand new set and leave the old ones behind.
UPDATE: the tires ended up being posted on marketplace for sale minutes later. We got the address and retrieved these tires with every intention of letting it go, as I know everyone makes mistakes, myself included. However, this individual had a family member come to the shop making threats of filing police reports on us for taking the tires and making threats when we retrieve them (we recorded the entire interaction for this very reason), very few words were spoken and certainly not a single threat or even curse word from either side and the tires were retrieved without incident. This family member came into our office being rude and irate with multiples children present, upsetting these children due to her loud tone and behavior.
So after consideration, due to how they decided to handle this, we have decided we will be pressing charges for theft greater than $2000. Let this be a lesson moving forward, we have cameras on all sides of the property , if you steal from us, we WILL press charges!
