Cleaning corporate headquarters - how often do you see this opportunity? Choose your own adventure! These rare wide body bikes are up to claim before they go back on the racks for a future restoration! Happy to take more pictures while they are down, just ask.
Left to right, all are 99% complete (rails, headsets, motors…all major parts there), and all will need restoration to different degrees:
1953 Allstate - $2,750 obo: has rust, needs some bodywork, reasonably straight. I would rat rod this one, or full restoration.
1953 Allstate - $3,250 obo: original paint under clunky blue repaint. Original paint seekers.
1951 Allstate 788-100 - $4,500 obo: the earliest known officially imported Vespa in the US based on VIN) - Extremely rare. Lots of quality bodywork has been completed. One for the collectors. I spent a couple decades searching for this bike. All you gotta do is send the money. Working through the details with a tentative buyer. Back-up offers welcome.
1952 Allstate 788-101 - $3,250 obo: Pulled from a Missouri farm where it got its haircut. Original leg shield pieces included for repair. Aluminum horn cast = early 1952 (different from later 1952/ 1953/ 1954). Working through the details with a tentative buyer. Original paint w/surface rust.
1953 Allstate - $3,000 obo: solid project. Has a ding in the horn column (pictured). Perfect candidate for a sleeper or restoration. Nice and straight.
1957 ACMA 150GL - $3,500 obo: ridiculously rare bike in the US - I can’t think of another. Total project, rust, a few missing parts that can only be sourced overseas. Fancy, finicky, delicate, and expensive as s**t. Perfect French bike, not for first timers.
1954 Allstate (not pictured, previously posted) - $2,650. Body needs work, missing handlebar (headlight is there), needs full restoration. Last production year.
1957/8 VB1 (not pictured, previously posted) - $2,000. Good straight rare Vespa. Working through details with tentative buyer. Backup offers welcome.
