British Field Day - the fine details:
Liberty Park is located between 500 East & 700 East, and 900 South & 1300 South in Salt Lake City. The British Field Day event will be held in the northeast quadrant of the park. Enter off 1300 South and drive east and north about a quarter of the way around the park. You will see the event on the left.
Registration starts at 8 AM although a little earlier than that (7:45) is OK too. We hope to have most bikes and cars in place by 9 AM although late registrations are allowed. The registration desk will be half way down the loop road until about 8:45 to prevent blocking the main park road. Arrive early for quickest entry. We encourage participants displaying vehicles to stay until 2 PM, but if you can only make it for a couple of hours, that is fine, too!
The registration fee is $20 per owner regardless of the number of cars or bikes they wish to display.
Although it is not required, you can help us expedite the registration process & avoid congestion by completing & printing out the British Field Day 2024 Registration Form prior to the event

Walk-in spectators: $10 donation is requested per adult admission. Kids 12 and under are free.
If a club or a group wishes to reserve a space for multiple vehicles, you must do this Friday evening under the direction and permission of a BFD volunteer. You then need to clearly delineate and label the spot you want i.e. all 4 corners. If you wait until the day of the event you may not and probably will not get the spot you want.
We will have a one-way road of sorts laid out and require that this be kept clear and open. The S.L. P. D. and Fire Department requires this access for emergency purposes. BFD reserves the right to request relocation of vehicles blocking egress.
One new thing we are adding this year is off street parking for spectators vehicles use during the event. An issue we have had in the past is limited parking for spectators or entrants that are bringing a second car. Liberty Park is a very popular park especially on weekends so spectators coming to our event frequently leave rather than battle for a parking space around the main ring road. There is a $5 fee per car for this. We have to rent the additional space from the City hence the additional fee. If you utilize this, you can pay your admission fee and the parking fee together. Parking will be clearly marked and you will enter at the main entrance gate and turn south. After parking, spectators will enter at the south gate which will be less busy than the main gate. This parking area is only available during the event, all vehicles parked must be removed by 2:00pm.
The layout of the event is changing. All exhibiting motorcycles (and food trucks) will be on the South side of the loop road. All exhibiting cars will be on the north side of the loop road. Like last year, there will be less room so we encourage exhibitors to display their cars to the west side of the event. We want to fill out the event from west to east so parking locations will be suggested.
If you bring a tow vehicle and trailer that isn’t specifically part of your display, we are requesting that these be stored in the grass area just south of the road course, not in the display area.
Lastly we need some volunteers from the car community to help with the setup from about 7:30 until 9:30 AM the morning of the event on the 15th, It’s easy so come early and help! We will have coffee and donuts for the early bird helpers!
Setup is Friday evening June 14, 2024. If you are able to volunteer, please show up at 6:00 PM or an hour or so sooner. Work gloves, a gas powered blower, a stiff street broom, or a hammer and a staple gun would be welcomed. The BFD event itself is on Saturday June 15th, 2024. Saturday afternoon until 2:00 PM when we begin wrapping up the event and would appreciate any volunteer help with taking down the banners and stakes.
Have a great BFD!
