Recently, she has started Beyond Your Walls, an organization aimed towards helping the community including raising money for a mobile shower for the homeless! Congratulations to Seth Place, another outstanding individual! He and his dog, Samson, visit and shop for the Berlin Nursing Home frequently. Seth goes out of his way to make sure we remember, love, and spend quality time with older folks who have given their time in the community but now live in a nursing home. You would never know that Seth himself does not have a family member there. Thank you from the Pohanka family for all that you do and for paying it forward! 🥳❤️

Congrats to another outstanding individual, Michelle Soltes of Lewes, DE! Michelle was nominated by multiple people who felt that her giving and hard work is unparallel! She collects food for animal shelters, crochets blankets for a nonprofit supporting the homeless, and participates in the Meals on Wheels of Lewes. Congrats to Aniyah Cropper, another outstanding individual! She is an active volunteer in her community and uses her love of reading to inspire book drives, promotes literacy to her peers and has created an escape room for readers at Wicomico Public Library. She volunteers at countless community events but her favorite is helping the kids at the domestic violence shelter. Thank you from the Pohanka family for all that you do and paying it forward! This experience has shown that it does not matter how old one is, everyone is capable of making a positive impact on our community! 🥳❤️

Congratulations to one of our outstanding persons, Layla Gainer! It was a pleasure to meet this amazing young lady who makes such a difference! She continuously pays it forward not only participating in countless organizations but by creating her own called Project Sparkle On, Inc. Her mission promotes kindness across the nation.
