Diesel Mechanic Position Available
Palmer Truck & Trailer Repair is a full time towing and recovery business. We have been in business for over 25 years taking care of the towing needs of Salina and surrounding areas. Two years ago, we expanded our business by purchasing A&A Towing and Recovery, LLC.
Diesel Mechanic Job Responsibilities: We are looking for someone who will be able to repair and maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers and other equipment.
• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
• Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
• Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
• Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans
• Presents reports and plans to clients for approval
• Advises clients on repair options and costs
• Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
• Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
• Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
Work Hours and Benefits: This is a fulltime position. The hours may vary depending on the work load. We offer accidental insurance at this time and uniforms are provided.
