URSS Announces $5,000-to-Win, $500-to-Start Saturday Night at Salina Speedway!

Despite every effort by the ownership group of the United Rebel Sprint Series (URSS) presented by M.H. Eby Trailers and Truck Bodies, the series was unable to secure a Friday night venue for the upcoming September 11 date, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Belleville High Banks prior to the abrupt cancellation from the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.

While the series will not be able to replace Friday night’s event, the URSS is excited to announce a significant increase to Saturday night’s purse at Salina Speedway.

Thanks to the tremendous support of our partners and sponsors, including Team Geoprobe and Turner's Pasture Clearing & Tree Mulching Services LLC, along with several other valued supporters who have stepped up to make this weekend possible, Saturday night’s United Rebel Sprint Series feature will now pay:

$5,000 TO WIN

$500 GUARANTEED TO START

Saturday night’s event will be a non-points, all-money program, giving URSS drivers and teams an opportunity to compete for one of the largest non-points purses in series history.

Grandstands and pits open at 4:30 PM, with hot laps scheduled for 6:45 PM.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, with additional discounts available for kids, seniors, and military personnel. Adult pit passes are $35, 7-13 are $20, and 6 and under are free

The United Rebel Sprint Series looks forward to seeing its drivers, teams, sponsors, and fans at Salina Speedway for what promises to be a special Saturday night of sprint car racing.

Bransom enters the weekend 3rd in the North Region standings, just 40 points out of 2nd, as the championship battle heads down the stretch. He has also been leading the charge for the GoSunoco by 405 Performance Products Rookie of the Year honors in 2026.
