Only in Indiana will you be stuck behind a flatbed with a skeleton sitting in a lawn chair… wearing an orange safety vest like he just clocked in for road work but mentally checked out in 2003.
Man’s got zero cargo, zero urgency, just Midwest patience. No straps, no explanation—just “we’ll get there when we get there.”
You’re sitting there in traffic like: “Is that… a skeleton on break??” Meanwhile the driver’s going 62 in the left lane like it’s a personal lifestyle choice.
At this point, it’s not even weird. It’s just Indiana.
Somewhere:
• a construction zone has been “almost done” since 2017
• a guy is hauling scrap metal with more hope than straps
• and this skeleton is waiting for summer like the rest of us
INDOT didn’t plan for this. Nobody did.
Welcome to Indiana traffic — where the roads are under construction, the weather changes hourly,
and honestly… this makes perfect sense. 🚧🚚💀

We will be giving out candy for the kids & a token for $6 off an automatic wash for the parents on the 31st. Stop by & see us from 6:30 till we run out of candy 😊
