What a month , one diagnostic nightmare after another.We get these every once in a while where a customer has worked on it and replaced a dozen parts and then tows it in.Where do u begin?We recently got a 2011 Chev Traverse and by the way , a piece of advice steer clear of these cars, they are plagued with issues.Dont take my word for it just look on line.But anyway another shop had apparently replaced the engine 3 times since last april.No power ,runs on half the engine,broken wires ,bad fuel pump,missing bolts,blowing fuses,burnt relays.Fixed 3 codes,3 more pop up.Had it a month.Now starts and runs sort of ok but not right.got it down to 1 code and we are closing in fast but I got to tell u.Im tired of looking st this car.I feel for the customer,because it's not there fault.Chevrolet designed a piece of crap.Even the dealer said it's one of the most common trouble car or drivetrain that they deal with.Anyway it comes with the territory.This is Bob signing off with a last comment.If u see a traverse!Run!!!!lol.

So what's going on out there ?Getting alot of new referrals which is always good but we aren't seeing much in the maint. area. We do factory recommended services at a fraction of the cost.Dont be fooled into believing that the dealer can take better care of you because it simply isn't true. In most instances we do more for less.Give us a call and see.We do free estimates on most cars and light trucks.Have a safe holiday season.This is Bob signing off.

Oh good the week is over.Im feeling my age.im sore and tired,but we got alot done.But it feels good to see that I can still get it done and I think a lot of my customers , and some that have been with me for 20 plus years are glad to see me back in the shop.After all it was just me and lisa for several years before I hired my first employee. Well it slowed down for a few days which let us get caught up and Monday we got hit again and now were a couple busy guys .I could go faster but being a little OCD I need to double check myself and also I have always went a little further with even the most basic job ,an oil change for instance.I always top off fluids and clean battery cables and spray and wipe down the area where the oil leaks out when you remove the oil filter and wipe the bottom of the pan off.Some customers are very proud of there concrete driveway and dont like oil spots ,so we do our very best to make sure we keep it dry . Just taking pride in what we do.We hope that it sets us apart from the quick sloppy work of someone who's just putting in there 8 hrs and could careless.Another message from Bob @ Advanced Automotive.Have a safe and happy thanksgiving and we hope you think of us when your car tells you it's in need of repair.This is Bob signing off.

We are going to have a special that will last till the end of the month.We know that oil changes are a common special and yes we will be doing those for 19.95.But we will have these too. 1.) Coolant flush 59.95. 2.) Brake flush and system check 39.95. 3.) Winter special package that includes Wiper blades, oil and filter , coolant flush , Full safety check,Top all fluids.99.95.for most cars and light trucks .Does not include any diesel cars or trucks.

Well myself and my son survived another week making it 9 weeks I think since I went back to turning wrenches.It feels great but I'm still sore lol but a good sore.We are all ramped up for taking care of all your winter car needs.You need to make sure your cooling system and heater are up to the task of harsh weather.Be proactive bring your car in and we will inspect it all for absoloutley nothing.We will check all belts , hoses , cooling and heating for nothing and we will check brakes and suspension also.Free piece of mind from Bob and Travis. We are getting things setup nicely for working this big of a shop and the volume of work with just the 2 of us.If anyone knows someone who would like a part time job about 15 hrs s week just cleaning .doing stock and odds and end upkeep of shop . Send them our way.Not looking for mechanics. Just a shop maintenance person.Were having fun and the shop is really getting organized.Moreso then ever before.Stop by and say hi.This is Bob signing off.

Wow! It has been busy and my son Travis and I are having a blast .Working are behind off but it feels great to be under the hood again.I take pride in doing what I do and my son is showing the same attention to detail as i do.Make sure to double check and wipe those fenders and steering wheels.Im a little ocd about cleanliness.I just tell my son as I did all my employees that just think that after you get done working on a car that the customer is going to let another shop look at our work.What would they say? Wow nice clean work or omg what a bunch of hacks.Take pride in what you do.The rest is just common sense.Have a great day and hope to see all of you soon.This is Bob signing off.

Wow.what a day.im beat ,but it feels great.Travis and I put in a hard day , alot of work and not enough hours to do it but we got alot done and people have been great and patient.We get alot of cars that just get towed in with no warning and we do our best to get them pushed into our busy schedule because we know you all need your wheels.Thanx again.This is Bob signing off.

Well week 3 of father and son at Advanced Automotive.Working our tails off and slowley getting a system to run this with just the two of us.Were getting it figured out.But that phone! Wow! Well its busy and thats great,now me and travis got to get our game plan figured out how to get it all done.mostly me.Ive still got the smarts but not the speed but its coming back pretty fast so be patient.Its going better than i thought.We work well together.Cant say enough times how proud i am to have my son and me working side by side.Proud father.
