🚗 Sometimes the biggest problems have the simplest solutions!

A customer came to us with what she thought was an engine oil leak. She had already taken the vehicle to another repair facility, but they couldn't find the source.

After taking a closer look, we discovered the "oil leak" wasn't coming from the engine at all.

A bottle of motor oil had tipped over and leaked inside the rear door's map pocket, and the oil had slowly made its way out through the door's drain holes. 🤯

No repairs needed—just a good cleanup and a new bottle of oil.

At Dave's Automotive Repair, we believe in taking the time to find the actual problem before recommending repairs. Sometimes that means replacing parts... and sometimes it means saving our customers money.

Because the right diagnosis is always the most important repair. 🔧

I saw FOUR cars driving on donut spare tires this morning…

That alone caught my attention because you don’t see them on the road very often anymore.

But here’s the part that really got me:

😳 Three of them were driving on the interstate.
😳 Two of those had the donut on the FRONT of the vehicle.

Thought I would remind every one of some do's and don'ts with those spare tires

A donut spare is designed to get you out of an emergency and to a safe place for repair. It is not a replacement tire and should not be treated like one.
