“A new auto body shop, T & P Auto Body Repair, will open tomorrow at 317 South Park Dr.” Is the first sentence in an article written about the opening of T & P Auto Body Repair and Paint Center. This was the start of an amazing adventure for Tim & Patti Hullinger! Tim grew up in St. Marys and moved to Colorado, where he attended Denver Automobile and Diesel College. While residing in Colorado he met his wife, Patti and started a family. Since graduating college in 1972, Tim worked for 23 years in the body, paint and frame work business, the last 13 years as a body shop manager. Tim seen a lot of potential for an auto body shop in his hometown. After a few phone calls to friends back home, they found the perfect spot, 317 South Park Dr. Tim and Patti packed up and headed to Ohio with their family of 4. After the passing of Patti in 2012, Tim & their son, Rob became partners. Rob has been at the shop since the beginning & he continued to work at the shop during his high school years. After graduating, Rob moved to Tennessee to attend college at Nashville Auto Diesel College. Rob moved back home to continue his career as an auto body technician. During that time, he married Brandy and they have 2 daughters, May and Maggie. Since Tim’s passing in 2020, Rob & his wife, Brandy Hullinger has transitioned as the new owners of T & P Auto Body. Tim’s secret to success was, give the customer what they want in a reasonable amount of time and put a good guarantee on the work! Rob and Brandy continue to uphold the high standards and reputation T & P Auto Body has by providing the community with honesty, professionalism and high-quality work.
