Well, folks, we’ve finally done it. We’ve reached the end of the road, and the ‘Check Engine’ light for Ronnie’s working career has officially turned off for good.
For roughly 60 years, starting with Ron Keith Sr. and ending with Ron Keith Jr. they have been the ultimate automotive problem solvers. You’ve dragged knuckles, breathed in exhaust, and somehow diagnosed strange engine noises that nobody else could even hear. You took rusted bolts that refused to turn and made them behave. And most importantly, you’ve kept this community moving safely, getting people to work, to school, and on family road trips.
If you think about it, a great mechanic is a lot like a great doctor. You look at the symptoms, pop open the hood, figure out what’s broken, and perform the surgery—often while covered in grease and under a time crunch. You’ve turned wrecks into rides and saved all of us a lot of money over the years.
But as Ronnie steps into retirement, the tables have turned. From now on, there are no more Monday morning rushes, no more seized lug nuts, and no more trying to explain to customers why fixing their car isn't as cheap as they hoped it would be.
From here on out, it’s just smooth cruising. Your schedule is completely open, the gas tank is full, and you finally have all the time in the world to work on your own projects, hit the open road, or just relax and do absolutely nothing.
Ronnie, thank you for your relentless work ethic, your masterful wrenching, and the countless hours you’ve poured into this shop and everyone in it. Your expertise will be incredibly hard to replace.
May your retirement be packed with plenty of joy, zero traffic jams, and absolutely no unexpected breakdowns. Cheers to you, Ronnie! Happy retirement!"
