We headed to race #3 of the Maxxis Midwest Speedway Series this past weekend in Brookings South Dakota to take on some of the best in the Midwest! It was a HOT one for sure!

Race Recap:
18 Jr2 karts

Jr2 Heavy: Qualified 4th- Finished 1st 🏁

Jr2 Prelude: Q4th- F1st🏁

Jr2 Pro: Q5-F2nd

A big thank you to both the Maxxis crew and the staff at University Plains Speedway for putting on an awesome race! They worked their butts off both before and during the race in the heat to make sure we had a great track and event!

The Sharp Cuts crew had a great weekend all around! Thank you Cole and Ashley for all you do!

We made a late decision to head to Newton Kart Klub this weekend for their AJC summer nights race. Jason Ray and the entire Newton crew worked their butts off to put on a great show with an awesome track despite all the rain the day before! Thank you for giving us an awesome place to race!

We had the fortunate opportunity to work with the Sharp Cuts Team for the first time this weekend. What an amazing group! Cole Sharp had JW on rails every time he hit the track! Thank you to the entire team for all their help! Mike Gregory, Gavin Gregory

We were able to pick up one 2nd and two 1st place finishes including the Eagle!

Well, the crop is in so after a two month break it’s time to go racing! We are headed to Cedar Lake Wisconsin for the AJC Mid America Series Ironman race. We haven’t made a post for quite awhile and several have asked how the racing’s been going so thought we would make a post to recap our winter season.

We had two lofty goals for our winter racing. Win all 3 big races we attend and get the season championships at Emma Indoor Raceway. With the help of so many, we did it!!!

Can’t thank Fairfield Motor Sports Inc., Trackside Motorsports and Jake Alton enough for all they do to keep us competitive against the best in the Midwest!

Jake made the big jump from Rookie to race with the big boys in Jr1 mid season. Can’t believe the progress he made this winter! No better place to mold a driver than Emma.
He learned so much this winter about the timing of patience, aggressiveness, and to never give up until the checkered waves. All lessons transferable to life!

Can’t imagine a better winter season filled with unforgettable memories with our race family!

What an incredible weekend at the Turkey Chase! From fast-paced races to intense competition, the energy was unmatched. Huge thanks to all the participants, organizers, and fans who made it such a memorable event. JW took home the Turkey Chase Championship in both the Jr. 2 Medium and Heavy Class, wining 3 of the four features on the weekend and placing 2nd in the other. Jacob continues to get better in the Rookie class!
