🚨 Important Update for Columbia River BMX 🚨

This is not an easy post to make.

Due to new responsibilities at work that will require me to travel and attend school, I will unfortunately need to step down as Track Operator for Columbia River BMX. Several members of our current board are also stepping down, which means our track is in urgent need of new leadership.

Columbia River BMX has always been built by the community — parents, riders, volunteers, and sponsors who believe in giving kids and families a place to ride, compete, and grow. What we have here is special, but it only works when people step up to keep it going.

Right now we need individuals who are willing to help take on leadership roles and continue moving the track forward. This includes positions such as Track Operator and board members who can help guide the future of the program.

If Columbia River BMX has meant something to you or your family, now is the time to step forward and help ensure it continues for the next generation of riders.

I’m incredibly proud of what this community has built together, and I will always support the track however I can. But the future of Columbia River BMX depends on people willing to take the reins and keep this momentum alive.

If you are interested in stepping up or learning what the roles involve, please reach out.

Let’s keep Columbia River BMX strong.

WHAT A YEAR FOR COLUMBIA RIVER BMX. 🏁🐟

As we close out an incredible season, we want to recognize what truly made this year possible — our families, volunteers, and the businesses who chose to invest in our kids and our track.

Because this season wasn’t just about racing…
It was about building something that lasts.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and community partners — including:
Les Schwab Tires, Eaton’s Tire, Dahlgren’s Building Supply, Fireline Off-Road, Bike Master, Columbia River Speedway, and so many others — we were able to:

🔧 Make critical track repairs and improvements
👶 Host beginner clinics that welcomed new riders and families
🏆 Put on our largest state race to date, right here at home
🐟 Watch the Steelheaders set big goals — and smash every one of them

Every dollar donated, every service provided, every car washed, bottle and can donated and every logo on a banner directly supported youth development, family involvement, and a positive place for kids to grow. BMX builds confidence, work ethic, discipline, and resilience — and our sponsors helped make those opportunities possible.

As we look ahead, the 2026 season starts NOW.

New riders. New goals. New opportunities. Bigger dreams.
And we’re excited to continue growing Columbia River BMX into something even stronger for our community.

To the parents who drive the miles, the volunteers who give the hours, and the sponsors who believe in this program — thank you. Your support truly makes a difference.

Here’s to another year of growth, grit, and unforgettable moments at the track.

Let’s make 2026 our biggest season yet. 🔥🏁
