After earning an undergraduate degree from Flagler College and a gr
aduate degree from the University of North Florida, Erin spent time working as a freelance copywriter / editor, as well as becoming an independent contractor specializing in convention hosting for various brands and crossing into varied markets. Using this extensive communications background, combined with her love for her home town of St. Augustine, Erin felt that real estate was a natural progression for her career. Her marketing experience aids her in gaining exposure for her listings, while her English background has proven time and again to assist her in her many customer interactions. Not only did Erin grow up in St. Augustine, she is now raising her daughter here. She is intimately familiar with the school systems, as well as the many assets our community has to offer families. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring the many unique homes in our area, and, most of all, Erin loves helping connect families with their perfect homes. About Melanie Neale:

Melanie Sunshine Neale grew up living aboard and cruising on her family’s 47’ Gulfstar. She and her sister were both homeschooled, allowing the family to travel up and down the East Coast and through the Bahamas for nearly twenty years. Melanie earned her USCG Captain’s License at 18 (before she had her drivers’ license) and captained and crewed on various boats while working her way through college. She bought and lived aboard Short Story, her 1969 Columbia 28, while attending graduate school in North Miami, and has owned several sailboats since then. She is a published author (her books include Boat Girl and Boat Kid), regular contributor to Cruising World (her Short Story column ran in the magazine from 2006 to 2009) and BoatUS magazines, a freelance editor, and has worked over the years as everything from boat detailer to college professor and educational administrator. Her father, maritime author Tom Neale, instilled in her a love of sailing, writing, perusing boat listings, hard work, and marine diesel engines. Melanie lives in St. Augustine, FL, with her awesome daughter, Maryann, and her six-toed cat, Neemow. She’s excited to help make her clients’ boating dreams come true.
