Ho Ho Ho maniacs! We just got an emergency call from the North Pole and it appears Honda Mike is gonna have to make a service call so that means the Metrix crew will not be here on Friday, December 23rd. We will return the following Tuesday. Have a safe and happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Fetivus, etc.

Holey snowballs maniacs, it's cold out there! Break out the leathers and feel the cool breeze. Be sure to check those old batteries in your machine and make sure you weirdos with water-cooled motors have quality coolant flowing thru the pipes! Stay warm, ride often, ride safe!!

It's getting scary out there maniacs! The roadways are full of 4-wheeled beasts just waiting to take out us mild mannered 2- wheeled riders. Oh yea, and it's Halloween too! Come on in for our many spooky specials (yes it's us, the employees. We're spooky and we're special) The weather is getting cooler and there's more (too many) people around so keep your head on a swivel and expect the unexpected out there. And remember, don't take candy from strangers...except on Halloween, then it's ok. And really remember, Ride Safe, Ride Often!!

What's up maniacs! I know, I know It's been awhile but we've been busy turning wrenches and dodging virus droplets! Y'all know how it is. If anyone out there wants to own a genuine piece of history we know a guy with a completely and accurately restored 1942 HD WLA! This beauty is awesome. It's ready to conquer and destroy your enemies! Or just ride it to the local bike night. Either way you'll be the coolest kid on the block!! Check out the pics and let us know if you're interested. Happy Humpday Maniacs!! Just a reminder since it's coming up on summer weather and more people (idiots) will be on our quaint little roadways (if "more" is even possible). Make sure you keep your noggin' on a swivel and expect the idiots (other motorists) to do the exact opposite of what they should do! And remember that us law abiding motorcycle enthusiasts (sounds funny when I say it out loud) need to play our parts as well and keep the shenanigan's to a minimum. Save the stunts for the local bike night so that more people will see you make a fool outta yourself! And speaking of summertime, you guys who have water cooled bikes should get that coolant flushed so you don't have any issues in the summer sun. Ride SAFE ride OFTEN!!

Time for a "Humpday" rant! Now this isn't for everyone out there in biker land so don't get your feathers ruffled. This is for the folks that may be new to bikes or haven't had any work done in the past several years. We get calls everyday from folks asking about how much various work will cost and we understand, especially in these strange times that people want the best bang for their buck! We do our best to keep the cost down for EVERYONE we deal with! That being said, there are a lot of different bikes out there, especially in the Asian market and the same job on different brand bikes can sometimes incur different labor costs. Also realize that our two techs have been doing this for a long, long time! They're not as old as the grumpy old man in the office but they ain't spring chicks either!! Example; they don't just "change" a tire, they change the tire, check the brakes, lube/clean the chain or driveshaft, check the wheel bearings, etc. And sometimes they deal with bikes that haven't been well maintained and/or are stored outside which brings a whole different set of problems. So if you think our prices are too high that's fine, we get it. But don't trash us on the inter-web if we haven't even seen your bike. Not cool. Come in and talk to us. We need more face to face people! (as I type on social media) Our main goal is to give you the best work possible AND the safest ride possible. Whew! I feel better now. Ride safe, ride often!

Honda Mike and Harley Chris have combined their extraordinary talents (on motorcycles you sickos!) and have won the "Best of St Augustine" award for the finest bike shop in town!
