Just a reminder you should get a pre-purchase inspection before your next purchase! Today Better Car Inspection did a pre-purchase inspection on this 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 listed at $44,800. The DEALERSHIP listing said the vehicle had a "frame-off restoration" and had been professionally restored. During the inspection not only was rust found all over the vehicle, but there was over spray as well. The mechanics of the vehicle were also in poor condition with the vehicle needing a transmission input shaft bearing, transfer case re-sealed, and a front axel rebuild. It also had a good coolant leak. Buyer Beware on this "professionally restored" vehicle, it was falsely advertised. We saved the potential buyer lots of time and over $20,000.
