E-Z Tires & Auto Repair currently has an opening for an Automotive Mechanic and is looking for someone who is willing to grow in their automotive career. E-Z Tires & Auto Repair has been a family owned business since 1988 and is looking for someone to join and grow in their family. Flexible hours. Part time and Full Time Available.
Knowledge; Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to perform general maintenance
• Perform repairs on brakes, oil changes, suspension, steering components, engine replacements, transmission replacements, etc.
• Perform repairs on different types of engines and transmission
• Able to properly diagnosis electrical and drive-ability concerns
• Work on gas and/or diesel vehicles

Job Requirements
• Valid CA Driver License
• Automotive experience
• ASE Certified is a plus but not a requirement
• Ability to work independently, but also assist other technicians when needed
• Able to lift 50 + pounds at a time
• Provide your own tools (MUST HAVE)

A Tire Service Technician at E-Z Tire’s & Auto Repair performs the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Installs new tires and wheels and knowledge of wheel fitment.
• Performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, and repairs.
• Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies
• Conducts basic maintenance and cleaning
• Provides helpful, friendly and responsive customer service

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
