A piece of flying gravel at 60 mph can do serious damage to your eyes and face if you’re not riding with the right eye protection. And it’s not just debris that can affect your vision. Changing light conditions can also be just as harmful.

In this Dennis Kirk Tech Tip, RidewithRea is breaking down the best options for keeping your eyes protected on the road or trail. From tinted and mirrored helmet visors to photochromic transition shields, we’ll cover how to choose the right setup for changing light conditions.

Riding with an open-face or three-quarter helmet? Goggles offer a secure seal against wind, dust, and debris, while specialized motorcycle glasses deliver impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses and a low-profile fit that works with your helmet.

Whether you prefer a full-face helmet, goggles, or motorcycle-specific shades, the right eye protection makes every ride safer and more comfortable.

Upgrading your Harley’s handlebars to a taller rise can be intimidating, especially if you have to extend the wiring. The KST Customs Patriot Bars take all the intimidation factor away by coming pre-wired. The throttle-by-wire harness runs through the bars for a clean install and appearance. You simply hook up the plug-and-play wiring after mounting your new Patriot Bars and you’re good to go.

In this unboxing, we take a closer look at the Domain from the outside in, including the futuristic shell design, large brow vents, rear exhaust vents, Domain shield, fog free design, and rapid release system. We also check out the removable breath deflector and chin curtain, plus the three piece HydraDry interior that can be removed for cleaning.

The Domain uses a handcrafted FRP composite shell and is compatible with ICON’s HelmLink communication system, giving you the option to add Bluetooth communications later.

If you’ve been looking for a full face helmet that brings something different to the table without sacrificing the features you actually want for regular riding, the Domain is definitely worth a closer look.

Your tires are one of the most important safety features on your motorcycle, but they’re also one of the easiest things to overlook.

In this Dennis Kirk Tech Tip, Dan's Pro Shop walks through a motorcycle tire replacement, from getting the new tires mounted and balanced to reinstalling the wheels and setting the belt tension correctly.

We also cover an important detail for 2014 and newer models, including making sure the front tire is installed in the correct direction, properly cleaning and lubricating the axle bolt, and making sure the axle and pinch bolts are tightened correctly.

And don’t overlook that final step: belt tension matters. Make sure you check the proper procedure and set the belt slack to the specification for your bike.

Your tires are the only thing connecting your motorcycle to the road. Keep an eye on them and make sure they’re ready for the miles ahead.
