One of the greatest rewards of being in business for nearly 40 years is watching customer relationships grow into genuine friendships 👊🏻❤️

Recently, we had the opportunity to repair our good friend’s clean 2002 Honda S2000 after an accident. While we have age-limit policies for a reason, we got into this business because we genuinely love fixing cars. When we believe we can restore a vehicle to the Showtime Standard and proudly stand behind the finished product, we’re all in — especially when it’s something as cool as this S2000 😎

This repair was no small feat. The replacement front bumper alone took nearly SIX MONTHS to be produced and shipped from Japan and carried a price tag of roughly $7,000 before installation and refinishing 😱

Brian, thank you for trusting our team with your S2000. Seeing you back in it and on the road makes every challenge along the way worth it 🙌🏻

SAFETY ⚠️⚡️ FIRST

EVs are changing the collision repair industry — and repairing them safely requires far more than just fixing the visible damage.

Recently we repaired this 2025 Tesla Model 3, and we thought we’d share a few EV facts most drivers don’t know:

⚡ Not every body shop is qualified to repair an EV. Electric vehicles require specialized training, equipment, and manufacturer certifications.

⚡ Before repairs begin, technicians must safely disable and verify isolation of the vehicle’s high-voltage battery system.

⚡ EV technicians use specialized insulated tools and electrical PPE designed specifically for working around high-voltage components.

⚡ Collision damage to an EV battery isn’t always visible. Even seemingly minor impacts may require specialized inspections and manufacturer-directed safety procedures.

⚡ Repairing an EV correctly isn’t just about restoring the appearance of the vehicle — it’s about restoring safety, performance, and functionality to manufacturer standards.

As vehicles continue to evolve, so must the training, equipment, facilities, and safety procedures required to repair them properly. That’s why OEM certifications matter, and why we continue investing in the tools and education necessary to safely repair today’s vehicles 👊🏻🔋

The days are flying by and so is the PROGRESS 🔥
is doing double-duty between HQ operations in Running Springs and keeping a close eye on the transformation happening at our future Big Bear location 🧱🔨

From day one, we knew it was not an option to simply sweep the floors, bring in some furniture, unlock the doors, and call it good. That’s not how Showtime has operated for the last 40 years, and it’s not how we’re going to operate here.

The truth is that exceptional results don’t happen by accident. Elite businesses are built from the ground up through investment, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way — even when it’s harder, takes longer, or costs more.

When you choose to serve a community, your investment in that community begins long before opening day. It starts with the condition of your facilities, the quality of your equipment, the training of your team, and the standards you refuse to compromise.

Because how you do one thing is how you do everything 👏🏼

We’ve spent decades building our reputation in Running Springs by refusing to cut corners, and Big Bear deserves that exact same level of commitment. Every improvement being made today is laying the foundation for the quality, results, and customer experience we intend to deliver for years to come 💎

We’re not interested in LOOKING elite;

We’re interested in building something that truly is 🔥

We are proud to share that Showtime Collision has been recognized as a Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN) Pinnacle Performer — an award reserved for the TOP 5% of independent collision repair shops in Ford’s national network 👏🏼

This recognition is not handed out lightly. It reflects the work, investment, and commitment it takes to repair vehicles properly — to OEM specifications, with the right repair planning, equipment, tools, training, welding standards, paint finishing, quality control, and procedures required to restore vehicles back to factory safety and performance standards.

For us, this award represents what we have always believed: proper repairs require more than good intentions. They require ongoing investment in our team, our facilities, our equipment, and our training so we can continue serving our customers at the highest level.

And we will say this plainly: shops that do not value the investment it takes to restore vehicles properly do not perform on the same level. Period 💯

We are honored to be recognized among the top-performing Ford Certified shops nationwide, and even more proud to bring that standard of repair to the mountain communities we serve, in Running Springs AND soon IN Big Bear Lake! 🏔️
