We, at Payne’s, would like to send out a Thank You to Harrisonburg Fire Department for inviting us to their awards banquet and Fire Chief Matthew Tobia for awarding us with a Letter of Commendation.

In the early morning hours on an August day in 2025, we received a call in regard to a tractor trailer accident on 81. This call was a little different than most. This call depended on us as well as emergency personnel. With all hands on board, we worked with emergency personnel to get the man out alive. We’ve never seen anything like this. Everyone involved deserved the awards given for this call.

Congrats to Payne's Towing & Recovery on placing first in the highly competitive Carrier Class at the 2024 Wrecker Pageant. That's a good-looking truck!
