As I sit here waiting for my flight back from the SuperKarts! USA Spring Nationals here in Utah I have much to reflect on. It has been a tough road lately in many areas and I am more thankful than ever for my family, friends and customers. Overall we had great results with pole positions and race wins due to the great team work from everyone involved. I will hit on this "team work" further on, so please keep reading as It's a subject that many fail to see or understand. We ended the weekend with Jordon Musser winning in G1 making it 8 for 8 on the season, Brett Harrelson winning S4, a podium sweep 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Pro2 with Mark Thomas Snyder, Max Hewitt and Liam Synder and 4th in Pro1 with Aj Myers. Of course I always wish for that entire weekend sweep in all classes, but racing is so competitive and takes a lot of luck as well to make everything fall into place.
Teamwork is not just compromised of a few people during these chain of events, but starts with each and everyone involved working together right from the beginning. In my position it starts with great preparation in the shop along with very special help and support in order to build top quality, fast and reliable engines for my customers. Next is the track support that we bring to our customers and teams from making sure everyone has the proper parts to put together a quality package, working with the teams on data to help each driver improve, working with newer drivers to understand engine characteristics and how to get the most out of the package. This all gets put into place, but it's also the teamwork of the entire teams and drivers whom work together to bring these excellent results to fruition. I can provide the best package for anyone and everyone, but it takes full dedication and teamwork to get results whether it be a big team or more of a privateer. Teamwork makes everything better in all subjects plain and simple.
Nothing comes easy and we all make our mistakes big or small, but I cannot give enough thanks to my family, friends and customers for all of the support and believing in me that I can be the best and will always work harder to do what is best.
Thank you everyone,
Brian Fisher
