LMI Welding just released a new 2.5” seat lift for these trucks. Which is awesome, lil more airspace available now.

Stoked to see how this one does. Will be on a DD S6000 for power.

My enclosure has sold, I have 4 AD 4310 D2’s that will need a new home in another one of my boxes. Holler at me to get a package deal🔊🔊🔊🔊

They are used, have seen ~2k rms a piece 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months. No scuffs, no tears, no marks, I keep my s**t mint.

UPDATE: this enclosure has SOLD.

ALOT of yall have asked about this one, let’s see if someone will put their money where their mouth is, this set up will be coming out of my personal truck and going up for sale. Please understand, it will not be cheap, it will be 1.5-2.5x more than a your typical priced enclosure from me.

It’s still in perfect condition, looks just as good as the day I finished it. Please also understand, I do not need to sell this enclosure. It can chill in my shop for all I care. You will pay what I want for it, or it will sit on a shelf in my shop, I don’t care either way🙂

After a few months of testing the absolute limits of the (4) Audio Dynamics 10”s in my personal truck I’m ready for the next set up to test,

I’ve got 6 builds for my truck planned so far. Every single one, very unique and unlike anything I’ve done, or for that matter, anyone else has done, that I’ve seen. This build was my baseline to start with, now I start venturing into the unknown🤜🏽🤛🏽

The next one will be 2 Audio Dynamics 6000 series 12”s, I will be able to run the amp wide ass open on them, which I can’t do on the (4) AD 4000 10”s as they won’t take 10k rms for any sustained amount of time lol. Which they aren’t designed to, this isn’t a dig at AD. They’re great at doing what they’re designed to do. Put 2k rms or less per woofer, keep the power clean, they perform. Which is why I suggest the AD 4000.1 for power on them. People see I have an 8k and immediately want to do the same thing, I strongly recommend against it. Because you will FAFO real quick if you’re not very careful.

Anyways, with that being said,

If you have a

2015+ F150, or a
2017+ F250/350/450
Are cool with doing a 3.5” seat lift
And want a 146+ DB drop in underseat set up that plays pretty damn flat from 24-48hz
Want a very special enclosure that no one has anything like

Typical Commenter:
“The the airspace is wrong”

The reality:
He has no idea what the airspace is of the enclosure.
Has no idea what airspace the subs need.

Yet he thinks the enclosure is too small? Wild.

If the airspace wasn’t correct, if the port was too small, or too big, too short, or too long, if the enclosure wasn’t braced properly, you wouldn’t be watching this video of it perform the way it does.

Set up plays from 16-45 hz with ease, which is a result of testing, building the same enclosure different ways and making note of the differences, what helped, what made it worse, etc etc.

That’s the difference. Testing. Too many people in all walks of life find one way to do something, usually the easiest way possible and stick to exactly that and nothing else. Their results show it, or the lack thereof in reality.
