Progress on the 1971 Cuda Project.
Been working on cleaning up all the small details on the car so we can get it ready to disassemble for final clean up and final epoxy primer. We are working a design for fabricated trim panel to cleans up the radiator core support area to grill area. We 3D scanned the areas and CAD designed the panel.

1971 Cuda progress over the last couple of weeks.
Been working on 3d printed tooling to create the exhaust cutouts in the rear valance. After multiple versions, I finally have one that allows me to stamp the patch in 2 steps. Came out super nice, I welded the new patch into the valance. Now we just have to mirror it to the other side. Also fixed the fitment of the lower corners of the rear valance to the quarter panels.

We have been playing around with the exhaust tips and cutouts to get them in the perfect spot on the rear valance. We moved them out 2.25" to line up with the tail lights.

We are working on designing a different take on the exhaust cutouts and exhaust tips on this car. Playing on the other design cues from the car to create a much better fitting part. These are 3D printed currently and once we finalize the design we will transfer to metal.

Last week's progress on the 1971 Cuda project
Working on the final fitment of the rear bumper, definitely have some more work to do at thw lower sections to get everything to flow correctly. Also working on getting the exhaust cutouts and exhaust tips to fit like a modern car would. Using 3d printed parts to mock up the fit and will ultimately fabricate them in metal.
