WARNING ⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ WARNING ⚠️ PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION TO ALERT OTHERS.

If you require towing services, please be advised not to contact fraudulent companies. They are not legitimate towing companies, but rather call centers based in other countries. They will charge you a substantial fee, typically between $275-$500, to contact local towing services, such as ours, to assist you. You can easily perform this task yourself at no cost. Furthermore, after they have taken your payment, which you will likely need to dispute with your bank, they will falsely inform you that a tow truck is en route. Last weekend, on May 9, 2026, they scammed an individual out of $350, which did not include the additional cost of the tow. Yesterday, on May 16, 2026, they scammed a woman out of $275, informing her that a tow truck was on its way, only to leave her son stranded on the side of the road in Coxsackie for three hours. It is important to note that everything about these scams is fake, including their websites, which display numerous red flags if you know what to look for.

To receive legitimate towing services, please contact or text us at 518-929-3505. We require the address for pickup and drop-off, as well as the year, make, and model of your vehicle. Texting this information is preferable, as it enables us to enter it into our GPS system and provide an accurate estimated time of arrival.

This week, I assisted another customer who, regrettably, became a victim of a third-party towing scam. They paid a few hundred dollars, yet a tow truck never arrived 👎😠💸

Please be vigilant against online frauds and scams. Always verify that the company you are hiring is legitimate and reputable!

🚨 Consumer Alert: Online Towing Scams 🚨

The New York State Police are warning motorists about suspicious “24-hour emergency towing” websites that appear during online searches.

We have received reports of individuals who:
• Found a towing company through a quick internet search
• Paid large fees over the phone in advance
• Had no tow truck arrive

Many of these websites:
• List only a phone number with no physical address
• Have no local reviews or verified business information
• Look nearly identical to other towing websites
• Require payment upfront before dispatch

Some may simply act as third-party brokers, charging high fees before contacting a local tow company. Others may take payment and never send assistance.

How to Protect Yourself:
✔ Use established local towing companies with verified addresses
✔ Check online reviews from real customers
✔ Avoid companies that require large upfront payments
✔ If possible, call your insurance company or roadside assistance provider directly

If you believe you’ve been a victim of a scam, contact your local law enforcement agency and report the incident.

When you’re stranded, take a moment to verify who you’re calling. A few extra seconds can prevent a costly mistake.

Since this post got a lot of attention I wanted to do a update on the driver he lived and is making a full recovery still unsure how The accident happened but all that matters is he’s on and with his family 🥰

On April 7, 2026, at 7:04 pm, i received a call from the NYSP regarding a Toyota Tacoma that had reportedly struck a tree. Upon obtaining the address, I informed dispatch that I was approximately an hour away, to which i said that it was his call and that he told me yes if you can arrive as soon as possible. No problem, thank you, and have a good night. Upon arriving at the scene, my initial inquiry as always was regarding the well-being of the individuals involved. The trooper informed me that the driver was en route to the hospital, having been extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. We have no update on the driver's condition at this time, but we hope for a positive outcome. We brought the wrecker to the scene, as it is capable of performing all tasks that a flatbed can when it comes to towing vehicles, provided the operator is experienced. This particular hookup was challenging, but I was able to get the job done as I always do.

On April 7, 2026, we received a call at 7:09 am from the NYSP regarding a vehicle that had gone off the road and required winching and towing. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, albeit slightly shaken. He had encountered black ice and lost control of the vehicle. We successfully loaded the vehicle and reopened the road to normal traffic flow in a timely manner. We provided our contact information to the driver and his wife, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. We are relieved that everyone involved was unharmed and able to continue with their day. 🥰

Last night around 10:30 p.m. near Feura Bush, a couple slid off the road on a sharp turn and into a rock. With the roads being very bad, we still went out and got them out so they could get home. Even the 12,500lb tow truck had very little traction on a slight hill, but we were able to get the job done as we always do. Four other towing companies refused to come out, which blows my mind. It seems other companies don't work after 5 p.m. or on weekends, and definitely not during snowstorms 🤦‍♂️
