How long does a vinyl wrap actually last? It’s one of the questions we get most, so here’s the honest answer.

A quality wrap that’s cared for can look great for years, but a few things decide how long it holds up:

☀️ New Mexico sun. Constant UV exposure is the biggest factor, and roof panels, hoods, and horizontal surfaces fade first.
🧼 How it’s washed. Gentle, regular washing keeps film looking fresh. Harsh brushes and pressure washing at the edges will shorten its life.
🅿️ Where it’s parked. Garage- or shade-kept vehicles simply age slower than ones sitting in the sun every day.

The good news: a wrap is easy to check. If you notice fading, a lifted edge, or a section that’s lost its shine, that panel can often be refreshed or replaced without redoing the whole vehicle.

• Check mounting hardware for looseness
• Make sure colors, lettering, and contact information are still clear
• Inspect for weather damage before it becomes a bigger problem
