Congratulations to our graduating class of 2026! We are so proud of what Nate, Jake, and Jeff have achieved during their time on the team. Nate has been on the team for five semesters and served as the Logistics Officer and Chief Engineer, and is graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. Jake joined the team four semesters ago and served as the Electrical Lead. He is graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. Jeff has been on the team for five semesters as well, and also served as the Electrical Lead. He is graduating with a degree in computer engineering. We will be sad to see them go, and we wish them luck in their future endeavors!

As we near the completion of the Andromeda’s aeroshell, we are revealing a radical breakthrough in aerodynamic design: Splitting the car in half! By cutting our car in half, we found that our car weighs half as much, and there is half as much surface area for drag to affect our car! The composites team spent spring break making this new development possible. Our test driver, Solar Steve, will now be responsible for discovering which half is better to rayce! Thank you all for your support, and happy April Fools!

Last weekend, members of our team got to travel to the St. Louis Science Center for the SciFest Engineering Expo! We had the wonderful opportunity to tell younger students and children from the St. Louis community about what our team builds, accomplishes, and the problems we have overcome along the way. This was an awesome opportunity to spend time with the community as well as educate and hopefully inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.

We're Starting Off Strong!

You all have blown us away with the overwhelming support! We are incredibly grateful for it all! At just over 24 hours, we are sitting at 74% of our goal! Time for some celebration with some competition photos from the Formula Sun Grand Prix of last year.

Your support helps us fuel more moments like this; it also allows our new car to chase the sun at the next upcoming Formula Sun Grand Prix this summer.
