Now that everyone has expressed their feelings about the loss of the Outlaw Syndicate event,it's time for me to share our side of the story..
The long and short of it is that they wanted 75% of gross.
The track cannot survive on 25% of gross while being expected to pay all of the expenses, and be responsible for 100% of the taxes on the event.
With only $6500 in presale tickets sold, even if it's roughly 10% of sales, and then being told 2 weeks prior to the event that we were supposed to come up with $10k in sponsorship, after I was informed it was all already secured, the math just didn't work out for our side to have any sort of profit.
I will take my share of ownership on this matter,as I assumed it would be fair for all involved.
Communication with this group has been mediocre at best.. unreturned phone calls, texts and messages has had me nervous for a while, but I was hoping for the best..
Anyone that knows me knows I put my heart and soul into everything I do, this event was no different.
Many have expressed their opinions, and there's nothing we can do about that, other than knowing the truth and that we made the best decision we could for the track.
Thank you to all of our loyal fans, racers and sponsors who have supported us on the past,we couldn't do it without you all!!
Come out and join us for our Hooktacular event October 31st.. Event details should be posted later today.
Sincerely,
