Hey everyone, just a quick note to let you know that I am in the shop and building but haven’t had much for sale recently due to return business and freshen jobs. I’m currently building for Josh Baumgartner’s Big Foot monster truck and Bill Brownells pulling trucks which is keeping me out of the muscle car game. I am still building to order and have multiple combinations here to work so hit me up if you need something built as I would love to have your business! Oh yeah, still in the chair! What do you suppose 718 Ft Lbs of torque can do? I’ll tell you a few things it can do, it will twist a standard 28 spline axle in a 9” rear end until it breaks! It will also break the center section of a 9”. It’s enough power to break an axle in a 12 bolt if you actually get it hooked to the ground. Most of the lookers at my engines do not have the car to handle 550hp and I guarantee you they can’t handle 718ft lbs of torque. Yet everyone wants 700hp plus for cheap. Haha!
Oh, and did I forget to say that it must be pump gas? I used to like Street Outlaws but I’m starting to think that it’s made the masses completely stupid. I’m sorry but it’s the truth. Your average warmed over sbc in an old car maybe makes 300. You pull it out and plug in one of my 600hp engines and you’re going to break s**t immediately if remotely hook up.
Most people can’t even handle 600hp. I know a 475hp 68 Camaro that would scare the s**t out of average Joe going for a ride.
Ok, rant is over! I sell a strong engine package for a good price and have a lot of my customers that will back me up.

Accell Shorty Spark Plugs

Does anyone have any experience with the Accell shorty spark plugs for the Big Block Chevy engines. I have a 528 that I plan to run them in and am trying to find the heat range I need. So far it looks like the 0416S-4 with a heat range of 6 is my plug but just thought I’d throw it out there for anyone with experience running them to chime in.
Engine Specs:
528 big block Chevy.
4.5 stroke
6.535 rod
4.320 Bore T.D.
-26cc dome
11.21:1 comp

Well guys, the tariffs appear to be working but the backlash kinda sucks. Five years ago I was buying cast Eagle 4.25 Stroke Crankshafts for $200. I priced them today and they are $413.
I don’t know what to do other than pass the cost increase on to the customer. I was selling 496s for $7900 back then and now they are going to eclipse $10 Grand and there is nothing I can do about it. I only use premium parts and I’m not going to change because the s**t stuff is cheaper.
