We're incredibly proud to congratulate Truen Taylor, one of our ASE Master Technician, on being named a 2026 Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year Finalist!

Truen's journey with The KAR Shop is one we're especially proud of. He started with us in 2016 as an intern from NWTI, and through hard work, dedication, and a passion for the automotive industry, he has grown into one of the best technicians in the country.

Out of more than 4,000 Certified Service Centers across the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper network in the U.S. and Canada, Truen was selected as one of only 13 finalists invited to Detroit. There, he competed in a series of challenging ASE-based exams and hands-on diagnostic and repair competitions against the top technicians in North America.

Just being selected as a finalist is an incredible achievement and a testament to Truen's knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to taking care of our customers every day.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from The KAR Shop! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible sacrifices that made the United States of America possible.

On July 4, 1776, 56 courageous men signed the Declaration of Independence, fully understanding the risks they were taking. They pledged to each other their "Lives, their Fortunes, and their sacred Honor." Many paid a tremendous price. Some lost their homes and businesses. Others were captured by the British and imprisoned. Several saw their property destroyed during the war, and many endured years of hardship while fighting for the freedom we enjoy today.

Their courage helped create a nation where people are free to work hard, pursue their dreams, build businesses, raise families, and chart their own path in life. That freedom is something we're incredibly grateful for every day.
