Congratulations to our June Associate of the Month, Daniel Ellis!
Daniel has been a valued member of our Exteriors Department for a little over a year, and throughout that time he has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do whatever is asked of him. Whether he's installing exterior siding, lights, or putting the finishing touches on one of our homes, Daniel takes tremendous pride in his work and approaches every home as if it were his own. His eye for quality and attention to detail make him an invaluable member of our team.
One of Daniel's favorite parts of the job is being able to step back at the end of the day and see the finished product, knowing he played a role in building a home that a family will enjoy for years to come. Although he came to Cavco with very little construction experience, he has embraced every opportunity to learn. Looking ahead, Daniel hopes to continue expanding his skills across multiple departments with the goal of one day becoming a Utility team member—someone who can jump in wherever needed with confidence and expertise.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Daniel spent much of his young adult life in the Martinsville/Bassett area, where he enjoys being close to his family. Whether it's family gatherings or game nights with his parents and siblings, spending quality time with those closest to him is something he values deeply.
Daniel is also an animal lover—especially cats! He appreciates that they fit well with his busy schedule, and he and his brother recently rescued a kitten off the street and gave it a loving forever home.
When he's not at work, you'll likely find Daniel enjoying one of his biggest passions: riding his Indian motorcycle. Instead of testing the limits on public roads, he and his friends participate in track days where they can safely enjoy the thrill of riding. When he's ready for something a little more relaxing, he picks up his guitar—an instrument he largely taught himself to play. Music has always been an escape for him, and while his taste spans many genres, rock remains one of his favorites.
Daniel's dedication, craftsmanship, and positive attitude have not gone unnoticed. We appreciate everything he has contributed to Cavco - Rocky Mount and are proud to recognize him as our June Associate of the Month. We know this is only the beginning of his journey, and we look forward to watching him continue to grow and succeed.
