❤️ 40 Years. One Incredible Legacy. ❤️
After 40 years of serving the Rocky Mount community, we are celebrating the retirement of Glenn and Vickey Bottoms and Wanda Rhodes.
August 31, 2026, marked the official last day of their 40-year journey at Bottoms Tire & Auto — a journey built on hard work, honesty, dedication, and countless relationships with customers who became like family.
For four decades, Glenn, Vickey, and Wanda poured their hearts into this business. They watched families grow, served multiple generations of customers, and built a reputation in our community that we are incredibly proud to carry forward.
As they begin this well-deserved retirement, we are excited to announce that Bottoms Tire & Auto has been purchased by Glenn and Vickey’s daughter, Shanna Strickland, and her husband, Daniel.
While this is the end of one chapter, it is also the beginning of a new one.
It means so much to us to have the opportunity to continue the business our family has worked so hard to build. We are honored to carry the Bottoms Tire & Auto name forward and to continue serving the Rocky Mount community with the same values of honesty, hard work, quality service, and treating our customers like family.
