SHOUT OUT to our wonderful peeps. You were there for us last night during the crazy water and calls and texts today with offers to help with clean up. Thank you for caring for us and each other. I will say it again…you are the best!

UPDATE: The water has gone down. Everybody’s campers are good. We got some decks that are in places they shouldn’t be and lots of rock where there was grass. New ditches and some things to retrieve from the lake. No one got hurt and overall it is a good outcome!

I just wanna let all of our campers know that we’re flooding really bad down here. We’re trying to move stuff but it’s coming up way too fast. I don’t know what tomorrow’s gonna bring. I’m sorry.

When I reflect on all the sacrifice and loss that comes with this day, it is hard for me to say “Happy” Memorial Day. On the flip side, because of this loss and sacrifice we get to enjoy so much freedom.

Whatever you are doing today, with whomever you choose to do it with, and how you may or may not be remembering the cost of those who helped us get here, we hope you experience much love, fun, togetherness, and gratefulness! God Bless America 🇺🇸
